I was diagnosed with Alopecia Areata at thirteen years of age.  I began wearing wigs at age nineteen and have been doing so ever since.  Over the years I have had numerous frustrating experiences finding wigs that fit my needs.  I was unable to find a store that employed someone with personal experience that could have empathy for my delicate emotions.  I found only inferior products and a lack of knowledge on how to make a young person look natural and feel confident during this process.  These personal experiences led me to add this service to my own spa business in 1997.

With all I had been through I felt the need to provide a safe and knowledgeable place to help other women in this situation.  Since that time I have had the privilege of assisting thousands of women through their hair loss experience.  I feel that through my own challenges I have mastered the process of finding the perfect hair piece for my clients, often with the very first one I put on them.  I have learned something from each of these women that have come into my life and having the opportunity of using my own loss to benefit others has turned something that could have been very difficult for me into a wonderful blessing.  I believe that things in life happen to us for a reason and that is why this is my mission!
