1.   WILL I BE ABLE TO FIND A WIG THAT LOOKS REAL?     

Today, wigs are almost indistinguishable from a natural head of hair.  Hand-tied fine hair or inside “hidden” wefting along the front gives a realistic hairline as well as monofiilament scalps that look just as  natural as your normal part.  Today’s synthetic fibers are much thinner than they used to be, and by working with high quality companies, we are able to provide you with a very realistic, beautiful, and stylish new hair style.

2. IS A WIG COMFORTABLE?                                                                                      

Years ago, wigs were made with caps which were definitely hot and sticky.  Today with the  invention of cap-less wigs, lengths of  fibers or wefts are sewn to cotton or lace bands which shape to the head yet allow plenty of air to circulate.  Most wigs weigh less than 2.5 ounces and are very easy to get used to.

6.  ARE WIGS EXPENSIVE?                      

Wigs, like any piece of apparel, vary in price depending on the materials, craftsmanship, and quality. The average quality wig costs between $150.00 and $300.00, but can range anywhere from $30.00 to $3,000.00.  With such a variety of companies to choose from, we are able to accommodate just about any budget.  Some insurance companies allow you to claim your wig as well.  As preferred providers for most insurance companies, we will happily bill them for your wig whenever possible.

5.  DO I SIT IN PUBLIC WHEN I TRY ON A WIG?                                                                                  

We offer private fittings for our clients.  We are experienced wig consultants, sensitive to your needs and will do everything we can to ensure that you will have the best experience possible.

4.   WHAT STYLE OR COLOR SHOULD I CHOOSE?

During your private session, we take time in determining what style and color you like and what works best with your face shape and coloring.  We can match just about any hair color if you choose to stay with your normal color, or maybe you’d like to be adventurous and experiment with a style or color you’ve always wanted.  Either way, we pride ourselves in making you feel comfortable and look great!

3.  WHAT IF MY WIG COMES OFF?   

A wig that fits your head is essential to security.  A perfect fit prevents slippage and that is why we take special care to custom fit your wig for you.   After determining the shape and size of your head, we will order a wig that has velcro or hook adjustments that allow you to loosen or tighten the fit as you need.  We have a lot of personal experience with wigs and can teach you how to ensure your wig stays perfectly in place.
